Mother’s Day 2015: Support the Troops

KPTP Mothers Day 2015 PromoThe anti-nuke protestors are back at Naval Base Kitsap – Bangor for Mother’s Day weekend.  The group “Ground Zero” is known for unorthodox protests and demonstrations at Bangor.  On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of this year, they held a mock funeral in front of our soldiers and their families as they drove through the Main Gate.  In the face of growing nuclear threats around the world (e.g. Iran and the associated flawed treaty), it is not time to disarm our capabilities.  Furthermore, this is not what our troops want to see on Mother’s Day!

As we did last year with great success and with great gratitude expressed by all passers-by, the Kitsap Patriots Tea Party invites all lovers of freedom and of our troops to join us at the Trigger Avenue Gate to give our heroes a warm greeting!  Bring your American flags and signs of appreciation.

The protestors state on their website that “the action at the Bangor gate will be at approximately 2:00 PM“.  We will be at the Trigger Avenue Gate to provide our troops an alternate, friendly entry/exit location.
